Our intensive 10-week training course prepares dental assistants for an actual, practicing dental office. All classes held in our office are taught by dental professionals who practice and teach the most current, up-to-date methods. The course is designed to give the student maximum training and experience, including lots of hands-on training.
Our facility is equipped with the very latest state-of-the-art dental equipment and audio-visual teaching aids. You will be taught the most current techniques using the very best technology available.
The teaching is fast paced, and relies heavily on individual participation. Each group is no larger than one instructor per ten students so we can deliver personal attention and a worthwhile learning experience to you.
What does the 10-week course cost?
The training course is $3100 which covers tuition, books, and lab materials.

Below is a sample course schedule of the content you can expect to master over the length of your training. Course consists of lecture (60%), Lab (10%) and Hands-on training (30%)
Day 1 | General introduction to terminology and equipment. |
Day 2 | Four-handed dentistry, aspiration, instrument transfer,isolation (dry field), local anesthesia, patient positioning, and handpiece maintenance methods. |
Day 3 | Radiology theory and practice of intraoral & extraoral x-ray techniques, xray safety and darkroom procedures. |
Day 4 | Amalgam & composite mixing and curing. |
Day 5 | Cements and liners, alginate impressions (upper arch), model pouring and trimming. |
Day 6 | MID-TERM EXAM covering Amalgam & composite materials and instrumentation, sterilization methods. Oral surgery & periodontal instruments and materials, alginate impressions (lower arch). |
Day 7 | Crown & bridge instruments and materials, making temporary restorations, and wax bites. Review and practice for final exams. |
Day 8 | Office Management, front desk operation, appointments, billing and insurance. OSHA regulations as it applies to dental assisting. |
Day 9 | Endodontic & orthodontic instruments, materials and procedures, job interview techniques. |
Day 10 | FINAL EXAM AND PRACTICAL EXAM, Pedodontic assisting, and course review, final written exam and practical clinical exam. Graduation and awarding of certificates and pins. |
